Sick of Fighting Toenail Fungus? Leading Brooklyn and New York Podiatrists at Fit Feet Podiatry Now Provide a Revolutionary New Treatment For Eliminating Toenail Fungus Better Than 95 Percent Effective!

Anyone who has had a case of toenail fungus knows all too well how hard it is to get rid of the problem. Fungus medications rarely accomplish anything, and usually carry side effects as bad as (or even worse than) the toenail fungus problems themselves.

toenail-fungus_275px Topical creams and lotions seem better than oral medications in some ways, but unfortunately rarely do anything significant enough to get rid of toenail fungus or even make a noticeable impact on it. And even if they do manage to accomplish a small reduction of the fungus, they are usually messy, smelly, and bothersome to apply.

Ultimately, the reason fungal creams and ointments so often fail is simply that they cannot penetrate below the surface of the nail to reach the fungus itself.

If you really want to get rid of your toenail fungus, you have to treat the problem beneath the nail where the fungus actually is. Only then will you begin to notice real results.

What Is Toenail Fungus And What Are Its Symptoms?

Toenail fungus (also known as Onychomycosis) is of course a type of fungal infection. But it is an especially tenacious one and can rot away at the toenails for decades. The symptoms of fungal nails include:

  • Discoloration of the nail, including white patches or yellowish streaks,
  • Thickening of the nails,
  • Brittle or flaking nails,
  • Darkening of the skin below the nails,
  • Separation of the nail from the nail bed, which typically only occurs in severe cases.

A toenail fungus infection will not usually go away on its own. The fungus will last for years, even decades, and will probably continue to get worse unless you decide to visit a professional and have the problem addressed properly.

Like the professionals at Fit Feet Podiatry.

pic_fungal_2 Onychomycosis (fungus of the nail) is a chronic, progressive, debilitating disease of the nail, nail bed and matrix (root). Over the years dermatophytes (fungal elements) enter the nail bed from the skin. The traditional treatments of topical creams, lotions, etc, although somewhat effective, are difficult to use in chronic and progressive cases. The most common treatment has been the use of oral medications. Lamisil (terbinafine) has been the most common, and probably also the most effective treatment recently in the eradication of onychomycosis, with an approximately 70% cure rate; however, blood tests need to be taken due to the fact that there are side effects, especially with the liver, and in the end, after you go through a long course of medication, you probably want a better chance of success than 70%.

Cost is also a consideration as well. Oral medications normally need to extend for at least three months, and recurrence rates are quite high. Often a second round of three months on oral medications is necessary. There are other medications out there, of course, including Diflucan, which patients tend to find much too expensive and which requires a full year of treatment. Sporonox, another fungal medication, has a much lower effective rate and also is expensive.

Which Treatment For Toenail Fungus Actually Works?

Here is the good news. Ours does.

Here at Fit Feet Podiatry, we are proud to offer the best fungal treatment in Brooklyn and New York, a new revolutionary approach that has been gaining a great deal of attention from podiatrists and other medical professionals across the country. This new approach to treating toenail fungus does not require medications or invasive and dangerous surgical procedures. And there are also no messy creams to worry about.

This treatment has come close to near perfection, boasting a 95% rate of effectiveness in completely eradicating the toenail fungus.

Many similar treatments for fungal nails try to mimic this one, but they all fall short.

Why does the revolutionary toenail fungus treatment work? Quite simple, actually: It is able to target beneath the surface of your nail, and deep into your nail bed, to attack the problem at its source. The fungal infection does not just sit on top of your nail, so how can you expect a treatment to work if it does not penetrate below the surface? This new treatment does penetrate, and it does so in a way that is both perfectly safe and highly effective.

There are no medications involved.

There are no fungal creams or ointments.

And you aren’t going to have to worry about any shots or anesthetics.

A couple short visits to Fit Feet Podiatry for these treatments and your fungal infection will be gone. You never have to worry about harmful side effects, taking medication several times a day, or applying messy creams. After the treatments the fungal infection will be completely gone, and your nails can begin to grow in clean and healthy again.

Why waste your valuable time and money on treatment options that are ineffective, tedious, or even potentially dangerous? Most fungus treatments will not get rid of fungal infections of the toenails. But this revolutionary treatment provides an extremely high rate of success, with no risk.

If you could have a 95% chance of getting rid of your toenail fungus infection once and for all, and if it really was as simple as a trip to the podiatrists at Fit Feet Podiatry, wouldn’t you want to just get in and have it taken care of as soon as possible?

Don’t put this off. You have had to worry over your toenail fungus far too long already. It’s time to stop worrying about your toenails all the time. If you live in Manhattan or Brooklyn, or within visiting distance of NYC, call the offices of Fit Feet Podiatry today for an appointment.
